Do you have a store location?

We do not have a store location, we offer online web based sales only.

Do you have a Catalog?

At this time we do not have a product catalog for distribution. All products are viewable on our online store.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

No Minimum order required.

Do you ship internationally?

We accept orders for the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska & Puerto Rico addresses only. We do not accept any international orders.

How do I place an order?

Order directly through our online store by selecting and adding items to your shopping cart. Upon completion of item selection proceed to check out and review your order. You may view shipping options by entering your zip code and reviewing the drop down list which also includes shipping cost. Select your preferred shipping method and proceed to the payment section. Once the order is completed you will receive a confirmation email.

Do you have shipping options and when do items ship?

Orders are filled and shipped within 3 business days, usually within 1 day. Shipping and handling charges are calculated prior to finalizing your online order . We offer USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground and UPS 2nd Day Air shipping. Package insurance is optional for USPS shipping and included with UPS shipping. Please allow up to six postal delivery days for USPS First Class Mail and up to three postal delivery days for Priority Mail. For UPS Ground shipping allow two to six business days and for UPS 2nd Day Air service allow two business days. UPS 2nd Day Air service is only available to delivery addresses within the continental U.S. only, and is not available to delivery addresses in Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Shipping rates are subject to change.

Risk of Loss

The risk of loss and title for items purchased from Smead Beads pass to the purchaser upon Smead Beads delivery to the carrier. Smead Beads will assist with package tracking of delayed or lost shipments. Smead Beads is not liable for lost, delayed or damaged shipments. UPS packages are insured for up to $100 value. Insurance for USPS packages is offered as an option to our customers. Tracking is not available for USPS First Class Mail packages.

Sales Tax Information

Sales tax will be charged for all shipments within Minnesota at the rate of 6.5% State Tax, 0.5% for certain city taxes, and 0.15% for Hennepin County tax. Please note that shipping charges are also taxable. For orders shipped outside of Minnesota the purchaser is responsible for any state or local sales and use tax.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover & PayPal. Online store payments are processed at checkout through our new online secure payment. We have upgraded our payment processing which is now active on our site with secure encryption. Google Checkout is also available as a payment method.

Product Returns

We want our customers satisfied with their purchases. Items may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Return items must be in original condition in original packaging and also the original quantity. Return items that have been opened may be subject to a 15% repackaging fee. Shipping charges are not refundable. Be sure and package any returns properly, broken or damaged items will not be refunded. Refunds for return items are credited to your credit card account used for the original purchase.

Order Cancellations

Order cancellation requests will not be honored if your order has shipped. You may return products for credit, please refer to the above Product Returns section for details.

Backorders and Out of Stock Items

At this time we do not offer a backorder service. We can notify customers by email when backorder items are restocked and available.

Lead Warning

Please be aware that base metal items may contain small amounts of lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm if injested. It is recommeded that you wash your hands after handling and keep all items away from children and infants. Our policy is to include any lead warnings related to products we may offer in the product description.
